Alex was born and raised in London. He attended the University of Guelph where he obtained an honours degree in Bachelor of Computing with a Co-op specialization. Post-graduation he lived in Ireland for eight months, before getting his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario. He articled at Kelly Hayes & Kilpatrick before being called to the bar in 2012. Alex has since taken over the clients of Richard Hayes and Thomas Kelly.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys watching the Toronto Raptors and Blue Jays, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
